We are fulfilling our vision–Transforming Lives With The Wisdom Of God–through various humanitarian and missions projects. These projects are carefully planned to meet the needs of the people and funded by the generous gifts from the partners and friends of Wisdom For Asia. Following are the current projects that we are involved in:
BREAKTHROUGH WATER WELL
There are hundreds of villages in India desperately in need of clean drinking water. Summer time (March-May) can be very harsh in this region and women and children walk miles to get drinking water. Most of the water wells are open and prone to malaria and other diseases.
As of now, we have already completed 133 water well projects. These wells are serving over 50 Thousand people in India. Your gift of $15 will provide clean drinking water to 10 people in a village. Your gift of $150 will provide water to 100 people for the next 15 years.

Beginning of a school can be very stressful for the people in many countries of Asia, especially in the rural India. Every June, parents struggle to send their children to school with necessary school supplies. This is also the season of the monsoon in India. This means no work and no money for the parents. This adds tremendous stress on the poor families. Many families decide not to send their children to school and later force them work with them in the farm or factory. We believe every child must attend school and complete their High School education. This is why Wisdom For Asia is helping families with necessary school supplies to send their children to school.

It is common to see villagers in south east Asia walking without shoes. Due to financial hardships, even flip-flops (sandals) are considered a luxury. Children walk miles on their bare feet. They face dangers like lacerations, fungus, and insect bites that can lead to infection, disease, and even death. Our workers have identified hundreds of children and their parents who walk barefoot and are at risk of life threatening diseases. Providing flip flops and educating them about the consequences of not wearing foot wear could often save many lives. Each Arukah Box contains not only a pair of flip-flops but also has hygiene supplies and a children’s book. The word “ARUKAH” is a Hebrew word and it means “restoration to health.” It is our desire to restore the health of a child in every way possible.

During each of our missions trip to one of the Asian countries, we make sure to share a hot meal with families and express the love of God. Either distributing a food packets or serving the meal to people, it is a celebration time. We often hear from the people that the food they just received was one of the nutritious and tasty meal they had in a long time. This is another way we touch people with compassion and love of Jesus Christ.
