Operation Empowerment is a short-term missions outreach program of Wisdom For Asia, focused on serving indigenous people and providing hands-on, cross-cultural serving opportunity for believers. Servant-hood and the love of Jesus Christ are at the heart of Operation Empowerment; it is our desire to share Jesus Christ and the Good News about His eternal Kingdom to those who never heard. We also empower indigenous believers to be a witness of Christ in their community by providing the training and tools they need.
Our missions trips focus mainly on the unreached parts of the Asian continent. However, we partner with various ministries and conduct missions trips to the other parts of the world. The Mission of Operation Empowerment can be summarized in three words:
Go. Serve. Empower.
Go: Go where the people are; Go where there is a need. Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Unless we Go, how can we make disciples or baptize? Unless we Go, how can we teach people to obey what Jesus has commanded?
Serve: Servant-hood is at the heart of Operation Empowerment. We are here to serve: Serve each other and serve the community we aim to reach with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We designed our outreach programs to meet the needs—physical and spiritual—of the people we serve.
Empower: We plan our missions trips to empower indigenous ministries with knowledge and the tools to further the kingdom of God in their community and to be self-sustaining. We evaluate the needs of the places we go and provide further support to meet those needs.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:13-15 (NIV)
Travel can bring stress! Going to a culture that is entirely different from ours can add a lot more stress and questions. Cross cultural missions are not always easy – but they are very rewarding! Taking a break from the daily routine and the comfort of our lives and going and experiencing another culture and how God is moving in that community could be an eye-opening experience for many.

Operation Empowerment trains and equips believers to be an effective witness of Christ’s love to those who have never experienced Christ’s love in their lives. We believe that every believer has a place in missions and can make a difference in someone else’s life. If you accept direction and are flexible with the heart of a servant, you have a place in our missions trip! So why wait? Let’s go and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ! We need your help! Everything we have accomplished in the past is because of the help we received from friends like you. Through such help we were able to feed hundreds of children, distribute thousands of gifts and train hundreds of young leaders in the past years. Be An Intercessor
We believe in the power of focused prayer. We are very thankful for the circle of prayer partners we have around the world who intentionally pray for the success of our outreach. Our prayer partners receive regular updates from us via email and are invited for our special gatherings. Please join our PRAYER CIRCLE today. Also, invite a friend to do the same as well.
